Opens... from window: Builder
from window: Iconeezer

InfoAllows you to configure which icon sizes and depths will be saved for your icons.

DescriptionBoth Icon Builder and Iconeezer have their own icon suite setups. You can edit the setups using this editor.

This window contains 3 sections:
1. Classic These are legacy icons used in System 7.x and 8.x. They are have dimensions of up to 32x32 pixels and use up to 256 colors and simple 1-bit mask.
2.NewThis suite appeared in Mac OS 9 and is still being used now in Mac OS X. These icons can be of 48x48 pixels in size and use 16.7 millions of colors with 8-bit transparency mask.
3.Mac OS XThis suite represents hi-resolution true-color OS X-only icons from 128x128 thumbnail icons introduced in 10.0 to 512x512 icons used in Leopard (10.5)

There are several checkboxes in each section. With the exception of OS X icons, they are formed in a matrix. Each checkbox in the matrix represents icon of certain size and color depth. If it is selected, icon of that size and depth will be created and saved. It means, that if you deselect all checkboxes, no icons will be created. On the other hand, select all checkboxes in all sections to create icon resources so that every Mac OS version will be able to display the icon.

As you can see, it is completely up to you, which icons will be created. One thing you need to be careful about is that icons you are about to create have their pictures and masks created in the Builder window, otherwise you can expect something like white rectangles or invisible icons.
More, if you want to create custom icons for your files or folders, 1-bit mask(s) have to be selected, otherwise, your icon will look 'empty'.

Just for your convenience, there is <All> button within each of three sections. Clicking this button selects all checkboxes within the section. Click the button while holding <Option> key down to deselect all checkboxes.
Similarly, if you wish to select certain color depth or size, you can click on the row or column label: e.g. to select all small icons click on 'Small' label. Or, to deselect all 256 color icons, Option-click the column label '256'.

Once you have your icon suite configured, click <OK> button to confirm you changes.
